A stainless-steel catering desk provides a solid, hygienic work surface that withstands daily scrubbing and supports heavy trays, pots or appliances. The flat top acts as a landing area for incoming ingredients and a staging point for outgoing plates, while the enclosed base stores utensils, cloths and small equipment within arm's reach.
Two full-extension drawers run on concealed runners beneath the worktop. Each drawer pulls out smoothly to its full depth, so every item inside remains visible and accessible without the operator bending or reaching. The drawers close flush with the front edge, keeping the line clean and preventing snagged clothing or tripping hazards.
The desk stands on four adjustable feet. These feet level the unit on uneven floors and lift it clear of minor spills, reducing corrosion and making the floor underneath easier to clean. A slight gap between the feet and the floor also allows air to circulate, helping the stainless steel stay cool and dry.
The overall dimensions—1200 mm wide, 600 mm deep and 900 mm high—place the worktop at standard work-surface height. This matches the height of most hobs, sinks and prep tables, so staff can slide heavy items across without lifting. The 600 mm depth gives enough room for a row of gastronorm pans or a stack of plates while still allowing the operator to reach the back edge comfortably.
The desk is supplied without a shelf inside the base. This leaves the entire under-counter space open for large bins, mobile racks or custom inserts, letting the kitchen organise storage around its own workflow.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry to prevent water spots. The drawers lift out for thorough cleaning, and the runners can be wiped or brushed free of debris. Regular removal of crumbs and grease keeps the runners smooth and extends the life of the desk.
