A professional fork transfers hot, heavy or awkward food without bending or snagging. The tines pierce the item, the shank gives leverage, and the handle lets the operator control the load at arm's length. This design keeps the hand clear of steam, oil and sharp edges while the food is lifted, turned or served.
The operator grips the handle, aligns the tines with the food, and presses down until the points enter. Once the item is secured, the fork is lifted and moved to the plate, grill or worktop. The same motion is repeated for each portion, so the fork must resist repeated pressure without deforming or losing its finish.
This fork is a single piece of blackened steel, 180 mm long. The material resists corrosion and heat, and the black coating reduces glare under kitchen lighting. The length allows the operator to reach across a hob or serving counter without risking contact with hot surfaces.
Cleaning follows the same routine as other metal utensils: wash in hot water with detergent, rinse, and dry. The black finish does not require polishing, and the single-piece construction has no crevices where food can lodge.
The fork is categorised under serving and preparation utensils in the Stalgast professional catering range.
