FIFO CONTAINER
A FIFO container organises stock so the first item loaded is the first one removed. This method prevents older produce from being forgotten at the back of a shelf or cupboard. The container's volume holds loose vegetables while its shape slides into standardised kitchen racking and under worktops. A split cover allows loading from one side and unloading from the other, keeping the flow of stock visible and orderly.
To use the container, open the split cover, load fresh vegetables into one side, then close that half. When service begins, open the opposite half and remove the oldest stock first. The coloured clips supplied with the unit attach to both lid and container, matching each batch to its delivery date or supplier. Two clips of each colour—green, blue, yellow and red—let multiple containers be tracked at once without labels.
The container is sized to fit common kitchen racking and under-counter spaces. Its footprint allows several units to be lined up side by side, while the 22.6 litre volume holds enough loose produce for a single service without overloading the shelf. The split cover remains attached, so it cannot be misplaced during busy periods.
Cleaning follows the parts the unit has: the container body, the split cover and the coloured clips. Each can be washed separately in a commercial dishwasher or by hand, then reassembled once dry. The clips stay with the container they mark, avoiding mix-ups between batches.
The catalogue places this item among storage and stock-control equipment for professional kitchens.
