Stalgast 24 cm Stainless Steel Lid for Professional Catering Pans

A stainless steel lid built to cover standard 24 cm catering pans, keeping heat and steam contained during cooking. Lids of this type work by sealing the top of the pan, trapping moisture and distributing heat evenly across the surface of the food. This prevents drying, speeds up cooking times and helps maintain consistent temperatures, which is essential for large-scale food preparation in professional kitchens.

The operator places the lid directly onto the pan once ingredients are loaded. No adjustments are needed; the flat design sits flush, creating a tight seal without requiring clamps or additional fasteners. When cooking is complete, the lid is lifted off and set aside, allowing steam to escape and making it easy to check or stir the contents.

Constructed from stainless steel, the lid resists corrosion and withstands frequent use in high-volume environments. Its single-piece design has no moving parts, so there are no hinges or mechanisms to wear out. The 24 cm diameter matches standard catering pans, ensuring a precise fit without gaps that could let heat escape.

Cleaning is straightforward: the smooth surface can be wiped down after each use or washed in a commercial dishwasher. Stainless steel does not absorb odours or stains, so the lid remains hygienic even with repeated exposure to sauces, oils and high temperatures.

This lid is a direct replacement for Stalgast catering pans and fits compatible pans from other professional kitchen equipment brands that follow the same sizing standards.
