Gas cooker with 4 burners (3,5+5+2x7) and bottom shelf. Intended for small and medium catering establishments and mass catering points.
A gas cooker heats pots and pans directly with open flames, transferring energy instantly to the base of the cookware. Four independent burners let the chef control each ring separately, so one sauce can simmer while another sears or boils. The gas flows through a valve to a burner head, mixes with air, and ignites at a pilot flame, producing a steady ring of heat that spreads evenly across the cast iron grid above it.
To start the cooker, the operator opens the gas supply valve, lights the pilot flame, then turns each burner knob to the desired setting. The largest burners deliver rapid heat for boiling or frying, while the smaller ones hold gentle flames for simmering or keeping food warm. Once the cooking is finished, the knobs are turned off and the pilot flame extinguished, cutting the gas flow completely.
The Stalgast 4-burner cooker is built on a stainless steel frame that arrives flat-packed for self-assembly. Four cast iron grids rest above the burners, supporting heavy pots without warping. A removable stainless steel bowl beneath the burners catches spills and can be washed in a dishwasher. The unit stands on four adjustable feet that level the cooker on uneven floors and raise it 20 mm for airflow underneath. A bottom shelf provides storage for pans or ingredients within reach.
Total power of 22.5 kW draws a substantial gas load, so the cooker must be connected to a commercial gas line rated for either natural gas (G20) or propane/butane (G30). The 800 mm width fits standard worktop runs, while the 700 mm depth leaves room for rear clearance and tap access. The 850 mm height places the burners at a comfortable working level for standing chefs.
Cleaning involves removing the grids and bowl, wiping the burner heads and frame with a damp cloth, and drying all parts before reassembly. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to keep the cooker stable and level.
The cooker is supplied as a single module with legs that bolt directly to the frame, saving space during storage and reducing transport costs.
