Gas cooker with 4 burners (3,5+5+2x7) and bottom shelf. Intended for small and medium catering establishments and mass catering points.
A gas cooker heats pots and pans directly with open flames, transferring energy from burning gas to the cookware without an intermediate surface. The burners mix gas with air to produce a controlled flame, allowing precise temperature adjustments for frying, boiling, simmering or sautéing. This direct method responds instantly to changes in gas flow, giving chefs immediate control over heat levels during service.
The Stalgast 4-burner gas cooker is designed for continuous use in professional kitchens. The operator places pots or pans on the cast iron grids above each burner, then ignites the pilot flame to light the main burners. Two burners deliver 5 kW each and two deliver 7 kW, allowing different heat intensities across the hob. A removable dishwasher-safe bowl beneath the burners catches spills, while adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors.
The cooker arrives in parts for self-assembly, reducing transport volume and cost. Its structure combines a solid frame with a bottom shelf for storage, and the legs connect securely to the module. The gas supply accepts either natural gas (G20) or propane/butane (G30), with separate injectors provided for each type. Cast iron grids support heavy pots and distribute heat evenly across the base.
A total power rating of 24 kW indicates the load on the gas supply, requiring a properly sized pipe and regulator for safe operation. The 800 mm width fits standard worktop spaces, while the 700 mm depth allows placement against a wall or between other equipment. The 850 mm height positions the hob at a comfortable working level for standing chefs. Adjustable feet compensate for floor irregularities up to 20 mm, ensuring stability during use.
Cleaning involves removing the dishwasher-safe bowl to wash separately, wiping the cast iron grids and burners with a damp cloth, and brushing out any debris from the gas ports. The bottom shelf provides additional storage for pots or ingredients, keeping the work area organised during service.
The cooker is available in configurations for natural gas (G20) or propane/butane (G30), with the appropriate injectors included for each version.
