Stainless steel electric pan with capacity - 40L. Intended for cooking, stewing and frying food
A tilting electric pan heats a large, flat bowl with an embedded element, letting chefs fry, braise, sauté or simmer several dishes at once on the same surface. The element sits beneath the bowl, transferring heat evenly across the base so food cooks without hot spots. A thermostat cycles the power to hold the chosen temperature, and the whole bowl tilts forward on a hinge, pouring contents straight into serving or storage containers without lifting or scraping.
Load the pan with oil, stock or ingredients, set the temperature dial to the required level, and start the element. Once the surface reaches the set point, the thermostat maintains it while the chef stirs, turns or adds more food. When the dish is ready, a lever releases the bowl lock and the pan tilts forward, emptying its contents through the pouring lip into a tray or bain-marie below. The bowl then returns to the horizontal position for the next batch.
The bowl and surrounding frame are stainless steel, giving a smooth, durable surface that resists corrosion and cleans easily. The base is a heavy-gauge chassis with adjustable feet, keeping the unit level on uneven floors and absorbing the weight of the bowl when it is tilted. A manual tilt mechanism uses a simple lever and counterweight, so the operator controls the speed and angle of the pour without strain.
The 6.3 kW element draws a three-phase 400 V supply, typical of commercial kitchens where high-power appliances share a dedicated circuit. The 300 °C maximum temperature opens processes from shallow frying to reduction sauces, while the 40 litre capacity and 0.27 m² work surface allow simultaneous preparation of multiple dishes. The 52 kg weight means the unit stays in place during use but can be moved with a trolley when the kitchen is reorganised.
Cleaning follows from the construction: after each service, the bowl is tilted to empty residual oil or sauce, then wiped with a cloth and detergent. The smooth stainless surface and absence of crevices let the pan dry quickly without trapped moisture. The adjustable feet are checked periodically to keep the unit stable and level, and the tilt mechanism is lubricated to ensure smooth operation.
The catalogue places this model in the heavy-duty electric tilting pan section, alongside larger and smaller capacities for kitchens with different volume requirements.
