A stainless steel milk and cream jug built for baristas to steam, texture and pour milk with control. The jug holds the liquid at a volume that allows the steam wand to create microfoam without spilling, while the spout is shaped to let the barista split the flow into multiple streams for latte art.

The principle is simple: cold milk is poured into the jug, the steam wand is submerged just below the surface, and the barista draws in air to aerate the milk. As the milk heats, the proteins stretch and trap the air, turning the liquid into a smooth, glossy microfoam. The jug's weight and balance let the barista tilt it precisely, so the foam flows evenly from the spout without breaking.

To use the jug, fill it no more than two-thirds with cold milk. Purge the steam wand, then lower it into the milk at a slight angle. Open the steam valve and position the wand so it creates a whirlpool; this distributes the heat and air evenly. Once the milk reaches the desired temperature, close the valve, wipe the wand and purge it again. The milk is now ready to pour into espresso, with the spout allowing fine control for patterns or layered drinks.

The jug is made of stainless steel, which conducts heat evenly and resists corrosion from milk acids. The handle is welded for strength and stays cool during steaming, while the spout is sharp and narrow to direct the flow.

A 600 ml capacity suits single or double espresso-based drinks, giving enough room for the milk to expand during steaming without overflowing. The volume also matches the output of most commercial espresso machines, so the barista can prepare one or two drinks without refilling.

Cleaning follows from the materials: stainless steel can be washed in hot water with detergent, rinsed and dried immediately to prevent water spots. The spout and interior should be scrubbed with a brush to remove milk residue, and the exterior wiped down to keep it free of fingerprints and steam marks.

This jug is placed in the barista tools section of the catalogue, alongside tampers, knock boxes and steam wands.
