Stalgast Bar Mat for Professional Bars

A bar mat provides a stable, draining surface for glassware and bottles behind the bar, protecting the worktop from spills and condensation. The raised grid pattern allows liquid to flow away from glasses, keeping them dry and reducing the risk of slips while also preventing rings from forming on the counter. Its low profile ensures it sits flush with the bar top, so bottles and equipment slide easily without catching.

The mat is placed directly on the bar counter where drinks are prepared and served. Glasses are set on the mat after washing or when pouring, allowing excess water or drips to drain through the perforations rather than pooling on the surface. Bottles and tools can be positioned on the mat without wobbling, and the textured surface helps grip them lightly to prevent accidental movement. When the shift ends, the mat lifts away for cleaning, leaving the worktop dry and ready for the next service.

Constructed from a flexible, non-slip material, the mat resists oils, spirits and cleaning chemicals without warping or cracking. The edges are smooth to avoid snagging cloths or hands, and the thin profile means it can be rolled or folded for storage when not in use.

The 450 mm length and 300 mm width provide enough space for multiple glasses or a row of bottles, while the 10 mm height keeps it unobtrusive. Its footprint fits neatly on standard bar counters without obstructing taps, speed rails or POS equipment.

Cleaning is straightforward: rinse under warm water to remove debris, then wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For deeper cleaning, the mat can be soaked or scrubbed without damaging the surface. Regular cleaning prevents build-up of sticky residues and keeps the draining channels clear.

This bar mat is categorised under bar accessories, where it serves as a practical addition to commercial bars, pubs and cocktail stations.
