Professional chrome-plated gas grill with smooth surface
A gas grill with a smooth chrome griddle heats food by direct conduction from the hot metal surface. The burners beneath the plate raise its temperature evenly, so every part of the griddle cooks at once. This method gives a consistent sear and rapid heat transfer, letting the operator grill meats, vegetables and flatbreads without turning them as often as on a ribbed grill.
The operator lights the grill, sets the knobs to the desired temperature and waits for the griddle to reach the set point. Food is placed directly on the smooth surface, which is split into two separate 800 mm zones. Each zone can be controlled independently, so one side can be hotter for searing while the other stays cooler for holding. Grease and waste drain through a hole at the front into a collector below, keeping the worktop clean during service. High side and rear edges prevent spills onto the floor or adjacent equipment.
The grill is built with a chrome-plated griddle plate and a stainless-steel chassis. The front panel is laser-engraved for durability, and the knobs are ergonomic for frequent adjustment. A device protection system is accessible from the control panel, allowing the operator to lock settings or shut down the grill quickly. Adjustable feet let the unit sit level on uneven floors, and it can be mounted on a frame base or a cabinet base with doors for storage underneath.
A power rating of 13 kW indicates the load on the gas supply and the heat output available. The 230 V electrical connection is for ignition and safety systems, not for heating. The temperature range up to 300 °C covers searing, grilling and holding. The working surface of 2200 to 4400 cm² accommodates multiple 800 mm plates at once, while the overall footprint of 800 by 700 mm fits standard worktops. The grill is compatible with G20 and G30 gas types.
Cleaning involves scraping the griddle while still warm, then wiping it with a cloth once cooled. The grease collector is removed and emptied after each service. The high edges and drainage hole reduce the area that needs scrubbing, and the smooth chrome surface resists sticking better than cast iron.
The grill is listed in the professional catering catalogue under gas grills with smooth griddles.
