A citrus fruit juicer extracts juice by pressing halved citrus against a rotating cone. The cone turns against a ribbed strainer, squeezing the pulp and releasing the juice while the pips and pith stay behind. This method gives a clear, fresh juice without bitterness, and the strainer stops the seeds from entering the jug.
The operator places a half-fruit on the cone, lowers the lever and the motor starts automatically. The two speeds let the operator match the pressure to the fruit: a slower speed for soft oranges, a faster one for firmer grapefruit. The juice flows through the strainer into a collecting jug underneath, while the spent pulp collects in a separate container behind the strainer.
The base is cast iron for stability on a busy worktop. The body and strainer are stainless steel, and the cone is aluminium. The controls are a two-position speed selector and a lever that engages the motor when pressed.
The 230 V voltage requirement is a standard single-phase supply found in most professional kitchens. The 5.7 kg weight keeps the unit steady during use but allows it to be moved for cleaning or storage. The footprint of 315 mm wide by 200 mm deep fits on a standard worktop or shelf, and the 440 mm height clears most taps and splash guards.
Cleaning involves removing the cone and strainer after each service, washing them in warm water and drying them to prevent oxidation. The cast iron base should be wiped with a damp cloth and never submerged. The collecting jug and pulp container are dishwasher-safe.
The juicer is supplied as a single unit with no variants or accessories listed.
