A shallow aluminium frying pan spreads heat evenly from the base up the sides, so every part of the food cooks at the same rate without hot spots. The metal heats quickly and responds instantly when the hob is adjusted, giving the cook precise control over the temperature. This makes it possible to sear, sauté or gently fry small portions without scorching or uneven browning.

The operator places the pan on a gas, ceramic or electric hob, adds a small amount of fat and turns the heat to the required setting. Food is added once the pan is hot, and the non-stick coating prevents sticking while allowing the food to develop a crisp surface. The stainless steel handle stays cool, so the pan can be lifted and tilted without an oven glove. After cooking, the pan is removed from the heat and the food served directly from it.

The pan is made of aluminium with a non-stick interior coating. The handle is stainless steel, riveted to the pan body for strength. The base is flat and smooth, ensuring full contact with the hob surface.

The single control is the heat setting on the hob, which adjusts the temperature of the pan.

A diameter of 200 mm gives enough space for single portions or small side dishes without taking up excessive hob space. The 42 mm height keeps the pan shallow, so steam can escape and food browns rather than steams. A volume of 1.0 L shows the pan can hold a single serving of liquid-based dishes such as sauces or scrambled eggs.

After use, the pan is wiped with a soft cloth or sponge and warm soapy water. The non-stick coating prevents burnt-on residue, so scrubbing is not needed. The pan is dried thoroughly to prevent water spots and stored in a dry cupboard. It is not dishwasher-safe, as the high heat and detergents can damage the non-stick surface over time.

The pan is designed for use on gas, ceramic and electric hobs, but is not compatible with induction hobs.
