A frying pan that heats quickly and spreads heat evenly across its base without hot spots transfers the energy straight into the food, so eggs set at the same moment and onions soften without scorching. Aluminium conducts heat faster than steel, and a thin gauge responds to the hob's adjustment almost instantly, letting the chef raise or lower the temperature in seconds.

The operator places the pan on a gas, ceramic or electric hob, adds a small amount of fat, and lowers the food into the shallow bowl. The non-stick coating prevents proteins and starches from bonding to the metal, so fish fillets lift cleanly and pancakes slide out without tearing. A stainless steel handle stays cool to the touch, allowing the pan to be tilted or moved without an oven glove.

The pan's 240 mm diameter and 47 mm depth form a 1.6 litre volume, holding a single portion of vegetables or two eggs without crowding. The aluminium body keeps the weight low, so the pan is easy to lift and manoeuvre during cooking.

The non-stick surface requires hand washing with a soft sponge and mild detergent to preserve the coating. Metal utensils are avoided to prevent scratching, and abrasive cleaners are not used.
