Smooth plate 400mm
A smooth electric grill transfers heat evenly across its solid plate, eliminating hot spots and allowing consistent searing, grilling or frying without the need for fat. The heating element beneath the plate warms the metal, which then radiates heat upwards into the food.
To use the grill, the operator first sets the desired temperature with the ergonomic knob on the laser-engraved front panel. Once the plate reaches the set point, food is placed directly onto the smooth surface. The high side and rear walls contain splashes and direct grease into a built-in drainage channel, which carries it to a removable fat container beneath. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring grease flows correctly and the plate remains stable during service. After cooking, the plate is left to cool slightly before being wiped down; the drainage system and fat container are emptied and cleaned separately.
The grill is constructed from stainless steel, with a smooth, non-stick working surface of 2200 cm². The control panel houses the power switch and temperature dial, along with a safety system that can be accessed without tools. A 4 kW heating element draws a 400 V three-phase supply, which provides the high current needed for rapid heat-up and sustained output. The 400 mm depth, 700 mm width and 850 mm height give a compact footprint that fits standard worktop depths while leaving space for side preparation.
A temperature range up to 300 °C allows the grill to handle everything from delicate fish to thick steaks and vegetables. The smooth plate requires no seasoning and can be used for both dry and lightly oiled cooking. Grease drainage keeps the workspace cleaner and reduces the risk of fire, while the fat container simplifies disposal. Adjustable feet ensure the unit sits level, preventing grease from pooling and making cleaning easier after service.
Cleaning involves wiping the cooled plate with a damp cloth, removing and emptying the fat container, and flushing the drainage channel. The high side and rear walls are wiped down to remove splashes, and the control panel is kept dry to protect the laser-engraved markings. Regular maintenance ensures the grill remains hygienic and ready for the next service.
