smooth/ribbed plate 800mm
An electric grill heats two cast-iron plates—one smooth, one ribbed—directly with embedded elements. The plates radiate heat evenly across the entire surface, sealing and marking food without open flames or hot gases. The ribbed plate lifts juices away from the food, letting them drip into a channel beneath, while the smooth plate gives a uniform sear. A thermostat cycles the elements to hold the set temperature, so batches cook consistently from start to finish.
The operator lowers the upper plate onto the food, then sets the temperature with the front knob. A second knob selects which plate is active or runs both together. Once the plates reach 300 °C, the grill holds that heat until the batch is done. Grease and juices flow down the sloped channels into a removable container at the front, keeping the worktop clean. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, and high side and rear panels shield the kitchen from splashes and radiant heat.
The grill is built on a stainless-steel frame with laser-engraved control legends that resist wear. The 4400 cm² working surface is split between the two cast-iron plates, each heated independently. A safety interlock cuts power if the upper plate is lifted while the elements are live. The 8.1 kW load requires a 400 V three-phase circuit, the standard supply for heavy-duty catering equipment. The 800 mm width and 700 mm depth fit a standard worktop, while the 850 mm height allows the operator to load and unload without stooping.
Grease channels and the fat container are removed for daily cleaning; the cast-iron plates are scraped while still warm and wiped with a cloth. The high side and rear panels reduce overspray, so the surrounding area stays cleaner between deep cleans. The adjustable feet are checked periodically to keep the unit level and stable.
The grill is supplied with both smooth and ribbed plates as standard. The catalogue places it in the heavy-duty counter-top section for professional kitchens.
