Professional electric grill with ripped surface
A ribbed electric grill transfers heat through direct contact between the food and the heated cast-iron bars. The bars are shaped to create sear marks while allowing fat and juices to drain away, reducing flare-ups and producing evenly cooked results. The grill's heating elements sit directly beneath the bars, ensuring rapid heat recovery and consistent temperature across the entire surface.
To operate the grill, the user first selects the required temperature for each of the two independent heating zones using the ergonomic knobs on the front panel. The work and power lights indicate when the grill is ready. Food is placed directly onto the ribbed bars, and the elevated rear edges help contain items and prevent spillage. As the food cooks, fat and grease drain through the bars into a waste discharge hole, collecting in the removable grease container beneath. The appliance protection system can be activated via the control panel to prevent overheating or electrical faults during extended use.
The grill is constructed with a stainless steel body and a laser-engraved front panel for durability and ease of identification. The working surface measures 2200 cm² as standard, with an optional extension to 4400 cm² for larger batches. A waste and grease discharge hole ensures efficient fat removal, while the grease container simplifies cleaning. The unit can be installed on an open structure or a base with a door, allowing integration into existing kitchen layouts.
The 8.1 kW power rating indicates a high electrical load, requiring a 400 V three-phase supply. This ensures the grill reaches and maintains the maximum temperature of 300 °C, suitable for searing and grilling at professional volumes. The dimensions of 800 mm wide, 700 mm deep, and 250 mm high provide a compact footprint for a commercial appliance, fitting into most kitchen worktop configurations without occupying excessive space.
Cleaning involves removing the grease container and emptying it regularly to prevent build-up. The ribbed bars can be scraped and wiped down after each service, while the stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth. The elevated rear edges and discharge hole reduce the spread of grease, minimising the need for deep cleaning between uses.
The grill is available with a working surface of either 2200 cm² or 4400 cm², allowing selection based on kitchen throughput requirements. It is designed for use in professional catering environments where consistent, high-volume grilling is needed.
