An electronic thermometer measures temperature instantly through a metal probe that conducts heat to a sensor inside the unit. The sensor converts the heat into an electrical signal, which the display then shows as a reading in degrees Celsius. This method gives results faster than traditional dial thermometers, letting kitchen staff check food, oil or equipment temperatures without delay.
To use the thermometer, insert the 210 mm probe into the item being measured. The probe reaches deep into liquids, thick sauces or dense foods without touching the sides of the container. A probe cover protects the sensor when not in use and keeps it clean between measurements. The unit powers on automatically when the probe is exposed, showing the temperature on the display within seconds. Once the reading stabilises, note the result and remove the probe. The thermometer switches off when the probe is returned to its cover.
The probe is 210 mm long, allowing safe checks of hot oil, boiling liquids or large cuts of meat without risking burns. The temperature range spans from -50 °C to +280 °C, covering everything from frozen storage to deep-frying oil. The unit requires a single A76 or LR44 battery, which is not supplied.
The thermometer is built for frequent use in professional kitchens, with a sturdy probe that resists bending and a display that remains clear under kitchen lighting. Cleaning involves wiping the probe with a sanitising cloth after each use, while the body can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The probe cover should be washed separately in warm soapy water and dried before reattaching.
This model is sold as a standalone unit, with no additional accessories or variants listed. It is designed for general kitchen use and is not verified for medical or laboratory applications.
