Gas fry top with ribbed grill surface
A gas ribbed grill transfers heat directly from ceramic or metal bars to food, creating searing marks and locking in juices without the drying effect of open flames. The bars radiate consistent heat across the surface, allowing precise control over cooking intensity and even distribution for meats, vegetables and sandwiches. Two separate work areas let the operator run different items at once, adjusting each side independently to match demand without cross-contamination or flavour transfer.
The operator ignites the grill using the 230 V spark generator, then sets the ergonomic knobs to the desired temperature up to 300 °C. Food is placed directly on the ribbed bars, which conduct heat evenly while allowing fat and juices to drip away. Elevated rear edges prevent spills onto the worktop, while a dedicated waste and grease discharge hole channels residue into a removable container beneath the unit. Adjustable feet level the grill on uneven floors, ensuring stability during service.
Construction is built for continuous use: a laser-engraved front panel resists wear and fading, while the appliance protection system monitors performance and alerts the operator to faults. The working surface measures 2200 or 4400 cm² depending on configuration, providing ample space for batch cooking without crowding. Grease management components reduce flare-ups and simplify cleaning between services.
Controls consist of temperature knobs for each work area, allowing independent adjustment. The 6.5 kW power rating reflects the gas load required to maintain high heat under full capacity, suitable for busy service periods. The footprint of 400 mm depth, 700 mm width and 250 mm height fits standard worktop installations, while the weight ensures the unit remains stable without permanent fixing.
Cleaning involves removing the grease container and wiping the ribbed bars after each service to prevent carbon build-up. The waste discharge hole and elevated edges simplify daily maintenance, while the stainless steel surfaces withstand repeated scrubbing and sanitising. The grill is also available in gas versions G27 and G31, offering compatibility with different supply pressures.
The product sits in the professional catering range under gas grills, designed for restaurants, pubs and event catering where direct-heat cooking is essential.
