Chafing dish jelly fuel paste provides steady, flameless heat to keep chafing dishes at serving temperature. The paste burns slowly inside a fuel holder beneath the water pan, releasing heat without an open flame, smoke or odour. This method keeps food warm without drying it or risking scorching, making it suitable for buffets and catered events where dishes must stay at a safe, appetising temperature for hours. To use, open the container and place the required amount of paste into the fuel holder beneath the chafing dish. Light the paste with a match or lighter; it will burn evenly for the full duration without needing adjustment. The water in the chafing dish pan absorbs and distributes the heat, maintaining a consistent temperature across the food above. Once lit, the paste requires no further intervention until it is fully consumed or extinguished. The Stalgast chafing dish jelly fuel is supplied in a 4 kg container holding 5000 ml of paste. The paste is formulated to burn for 5000 minutes, providing long-lasting heat for extended service periods. The container is designed for easy handling and storage in professional kitchens. The non-drip gel clings to the burner cup, leaving no residue on the chafing dish base after each service. After use, allow the fuel holder to cool completely before handling. Any residue can be wiped away with a damp cloth. Store unused paste in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or open flames to preserve its consistency and performance. This fuel paste is intended for use with standard chafing dishes equipped with a compatible fuel holder. It is not suitable for direct heating of food or for use in appliances not designed for jelly fuel.
