Installation requires a cut-out in the worktop matching the basin's outer dimensions. The unit is lowered into place and secured from below, leaving the rim flush with the surface. Once plumbed, the tap is mounted on the worktop or wall above the basin, directing water into the bowl. The operator turns the tap to fill the basin, uses the water for the required task, then drains it through the waste outlet.
