Stalgast Hanging Heating Lamp for Parasols

A hanging heating lamp delivers radiant warmth from above, letting outdoor parasols shelter diners without blocking the heat. The element inside the lamp glows when powered, emitting infrared rays that travel in straight lines until they strike a surface. People, tables and plates absorb the rays and warm up directly, while the surrounding air stays cooler, so the heat is felt immediately and stays where it is needed most.

The lamp hangs from a chain or bracket beneath the parasol canopy. Once the power is switched on, the element reaches operating temperature within seconds, casting a pool of warmth below. Diners adjust their position under the parasol to stay within the heated zone, extending the season for al fresco service without enclosing the space.

This Stalgast unit is constructed as a single vertical column with a protective grille around the element. The housing is finished in a durable powder-coated surface. A power cable exits the top of the lamp, allowing it to be suspended from a ceiling hook, wall bracket or parasol frame without tangling.

The control is a simple on-off switch integrated into the power lead. When the switch is closed, the 2 kW element draws current from a 230 V single-phase supply, creating the radiant output.

The 1000 mm overall height gives clearance above seated diners while keeping the heat source close enough to be effective. The 3.6 kg weight allows the lamp to be hung from standard parasol frames or light-duty ceiling mounts without additional support. The 850 mm width refers to the diameter of the protective grille, which ensures the element is safely enclosed while allowing the infrared rays to pass through.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the grille and housing with a damp cloth to remove dust and grease. The element itself is not user-serviceable and should not be sprayed or immersed. The powder-coated finish resists corrosion, so the lamp can be used outdoors year-round when properly installed.
