Heating surface diameter: approximately 260 mm (minimum diameter of the pot or pan base – Ø 120 mm)
An induction cooker transfers energy directly into magnetic cookware without heating the hob itself. A coil beneath the glass-ceramic surface generates a high-frequency magnetic field that induces eddy currents in the base of a ferrous pan. These currents meet the resistance of the metal and produce heat within the pan, not the surface. The result is faster temperature rise, finer control and no wasted energy heating the air or the surrounding worktop.
To use the unit, place a compatible pan on the marked cooking zone. The touch-sensitive panel lights a white LED display when the pan is detected. Set the desired power level; the display confirms the setting. The cooker remains cool to the touch outside the pan area, so spills do not burn on. When the pan is removed, the field collapses and the unit switches off automatically, cutting power consumption to zero.
The housing is stainless steel, finished in black, with a glass-ceramic cooking surface that resists scratches and thermal shock. A power cable is supplied without a plug, allowing connection to a 400 V three-phase circuit as standard in commercial kitchens.
The 5 kW rating indicates the maximum electrical load the unit draws from the supply. A 400 V three-phase circuit is required, matching the wiring found in most professional kitchens. The footprint of 400 mm by 600 mm fits a standard worktop cut-out, while the 115 mm height allows under-counter clearance where needed.
Cleaning is straightforward: the smooth glass-ceramic surface wipes clean with a damp cloth once cool. The stainless steel housing resists stains and corrosion, and the touch controls have no crevices to trap grease.
The cooker is supplied as a single unit without variants or accessories.
