Stalgast LED Insect Killer Lamp for 100 m² Indoor Areas

An LED insect killer lamp attracts flying insects with ultraviolet light and traps them on a glue board without spatter or noise.

The ultraviolet LEDs emit a wavelength that flying insects find irresistible. When they approach the lamp, they land on a glue-coated tray beneath the light source. The glue holds the insects securely, eliminating the need for electric grids, zapping sounds or chemical odours. Because the trap relies on light and adhesion rather than high voltage, it operates silently and without producing any smell.

To use the lamp, position it in the area where insects are most active. Plug the unit into a 230 V socket and switch it on. The LEDs illuminate immediately, beginning the attraction cycle. Insects drawn to the light land on the glue tray, where they remain until the tray is cleaned. The tray is designed to be large and easy to remove, allowing quick disposal of trapped insects and straightforward re-gluing when necessary.

The housing is made of fireproof plastic, providing a strong and durable enclosure that meets safety standards for indoor use. The unit measures 532 mm in length, 140 mm in width and 320 mm in height, making it compact enough to place on a worktop, shelf or wall bracket without occupying excessive space. Its operating range covers approximately 100 m², suitable for kitchens, storerooms and service areas.

The lamp requires a 230 V electrical supply, which matches the standard voltage in British commercial kitchens. The power rating of 2 × 0.6 kW indicates the load on the circuit, ensuring the unit can run continuously without overloading a typical socket. The LED lamps have a lifetime of approximately 20,000 hours, reducing the frequency of bulb replacement and maintenance.

Cleaning involves removing the glue tray, disposing of trapped insects and wiping the tray clean before reapplying glue. The fireproof plastic housing can be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust or grease. The LEDs do not require cleaning, as their ultraviolet output remains effective without direct contact.
