Compact and durable manual meat mixer with a 20-liter capacity, designed for preparing meat, sausage mixtures, and vegetable blends.
A manual meat mixer blends and kneads meat without electricity, using a hand crank to turn the mixing mechanism inside a tilting bowl. The rotating paddles or blades fold and stretch the meat repeatedly, distributing fat, seasoning and texture evenly. This method gives a consistent, elastic mass for sausages, burgers or meatloaves without overworking the fibres, which can toughen the product.
To use the mixer, tilt the bowl upright and load the meat in batches up to the stated capacity. Secure the lid, then turn the hand crank steadily; the paddles will pull and fold the meat until it reaches the desired consistency. Once mixing is complete, tilt the bowl forward to empty the contents directly into a tray or stuffer. The entire bowl can be removed for cleaning, and the non-slip feet keep the unit steady on the worktop during operation.
The mixer is built from stainless steel throughout, including the bowl, paddles and frame. Stainless steel resists corrosion from meat acids and moisture, and can be sanitised at high temperatures without warping or staining. The 20 L bowl volume allows batches of 13 to 16 kg, matching the output of small to medium production runs. The footprint of 450 mm by 300 mm fits on most worktops, while the 420 mm height keeps the crank at a comfortable working level.
Controls are limited to the hand crank, which sets the mixing speed and direction. The tilting mechanism is operated by a lever that locks the bowl in either the mixing or emptying position.
A capacity of 13 to 16 kg per batch lets the operator prepare enough meat for a service without constant refilling, while the 20 L bowl volume provides headroom so the meat does not spill during mixing. The stainless steel construction withstands daily washing and sanitising, and the removable bowl and paddles simplify cleaning between batches. Non-slip feet prevent the mixer from shifting on wet or greasy surfaces, reducing the risk of spills or injury.
The mixer is listed in the Stalgast catalogue under manual food preparation equipment.
