Anodized aluminum and stainless steel meat mincer
A meat mincer forces whole cuts through a rotating auger and a perforated strainer, breaking muscle fibres and producing evenly textured mince. The auger presses the meat against the strainer, which determines the coarseness; finer holes give a smoother finish, coarser ones leave more bite. This method keeps fat and connective tissue evenly distributed, so the mince cooks consistently and holds moisture better than hand-chopped meat.
To operate the mincer, the operator loads trimmed meat into the feed tray, switches the unit on and guides the pieces into the throat. The auger draws the meat forward, compresses it and pushes it through the selected strainer. If the strainer clogs, the reverse function spins the auger backwards to clear the blockage without dismantling. Overload protection cuts power if the motor overheats, preventing damage during long runs. Non-slip feet keep the unit stable on a worktop while the anodised aluminium base resists corrosion from meat juices.
The mincer is built with a removable head for thorough cleaning. The head, auger and tray are stainless steel, which does not rust and withstands daily sanitising. Two strainers—5 mm and 8 mm—are supplied as standard, allowing the operator to switch between fine and coarse mince without stopping production. Continuous operation is rated for up to eight hours, so the unit can handle large batches without cooling intervals.
A capacity of 160 kg per hour means the mincer can process a full trolley of meat in a single shift, reducing manual labour. The 0.8 kW motor draws a modest load on a standard 230 V circuit, so it can be plugged into a typical kitchen ring without tripping breakers. The footprint of 270 mm depth, 499 mm width and 550 mm height fits on a standard worktop or a mobile stand, leaving space for a receiving tray beside it.
After each use, the operator removes the head, auger and strainer, washes them in hot water with detergent and sanitises them before reassembly. The non-slip feet can be wiped down with a damp cloth, and the anodised aluminium base is cleaned with a mild cleaner to prevent pitting.
The mincer is supplied with 5 mm and 8 mm strainers as standard; additional strainer sizes are available separately.
