Electric meat tenderising machine designed to soften meat fibres and prepare steaks, chops and other meat products. Provides even processing, improves meat texture and reduces cooking time.
A mechanical meat tenderizer breaks down tough muscle fibres by passing meat between counter-rotating rollers fitted with small blades or needles. The rollers press and pierce the surface without tearing the cut, creating microscopic channels that let marinades penetrate deeper and heat distribute more evenly during cooking. The result is meat that cooks faster and stays juicier, while retaining its natural shape and texture.
To use the tenderizer, the operator switches on the motor, adjusts the roller gap if the model allows, and feeds each piece through the slot at the top. The rollers draw the meat in automatically, so the operator only needs to guide it with steady pressure. Once the piece exits at the front, it is ready for marinating or immediate cooking. The process is continuous, letting staff prepare large batches without stopping to reset or clean between cuts.
The Stalgast tenderizer is built with a stainless-steel body that resists corrosion and stands up to daily wash-downs. Non-slip feet keep the unit stable on a worktop or counter, even when the motor is running. Inside, cutting rollers made of hardened steel pierce and massage the meat, while the feed opening of 180 mm by 30 mm accepts most steaks, chops and poultry fillets without pre-cutting.
The 0.3 kW motor draws a modest load from a standard 230 V single-phase circuit, the same supply used by most kitchen appliances. At 24.5 kg, the tenderizer is light enough for one person to move between prep stations or store in a cupboard, yet heavy enough to stay put during operation. Its footprint of 495 mm by 220 mm fits on a standard worktop, leaving room for a cutting board or tray on either side.
Cleaning follows the exposed parts: the feed slot, the rollers and the stainless-steel surfaces. After each session, the operator removes any meat debris with a brush or cloth, then wipes the unit with a sanitising solution. The rollers can be lifted out for deeper cleaning if the model permits, ensuring no residue builds up between the blades.
The tenderizer is supplied as a single model with the stated specifications, ready for immediate use in restaurants, steakhouses, butcher shops and canteens.
