The unit holds liquid butter in a shallow stainless-steel container. A perforated wheel, half-submerged in the butter, rotates as the operator draws the bread across it. To use the dispenser, the operator pours melted butter into the container up to the marked level. The bread or roll is then drawn lightly across the wheel in a single pass.
