Stalgast Microwave Oven 1850 W with Touchscreen Control

A microwave oven heats food by sending microwaves through it. These waves make water molecules in the food vibrate, creating heat inside the item itself rather than on its surface. Two magnetrons generate the waves, spreading them evenly across the chamber so every part of the dish reaches the same temperature at once. This method keeps textures intact and speeds reheating or defrosting without drying the food out.

The operator places the dish on the flat, stationary base and closes the door. The touchscreen panel offers five power levels—100%, 70%, 50%, 25% and 13%—so the intensity can be matched to the task, from rapid reheating to gentle thawing. Up to thirty custom programmes can be created and saved, letting the kitchen repeat the exact settings for each dish without resetting the panel every time. Once the programme is selected, the oven starts and runs until the set time ends, then stops automatically.

The chamber is built from stainless steel and measures 370 mm deep, 370 mm wide and 190 mm high. The exterior dimensions are 464 mm deep, 597 mm wide and 368 mm high, fitting a standard worktop space. The 1.85 kW power rating means the oven draws a steady load from a 230 V single-phase circuit, the type found in most professional kitchens. The 26 L volume gives room for a full gastronorm tray or several smaller dishes at once.

The interior has no moving parts on the bottom, so spills stay where they land and can be wiped away without dismantling. The touchscreen controls are sealed behind a smooth glass surface, making them easy to clean with a damp cloth.
