A refrigerated pizza counter keeps prepared pizzas chilled while displaying them under a smooth granite worktop. Cool air circulates continuously around the food, pulled by a fan through a dust filter and across an evaporator coil. The coil removes heat from the air, lowering its temperature to the set point. Because the air moves constantly, every pizza receives the same cold flow, preventing warm spots and condensation that would soften the base or toppings.

The operator loads the pizzas into the seven stainless-steel drawers, each sliding out on quiet runners. The drawers stay closed by themselves, sealing in the cold air until the next order is pulled. On the front panel, an electronic controller sets the temperature between -2 °C and +8 °C and shows the current reading on a digital display. The unit can defrost automatically on a timer or manually when the kitchen schedule allows.

The counter stands on four wheels, two of them locking to hold the unit steady during service. Condensate from the cooling cycle evaporates automatically, so no tray needs emptying. A granite worktop provides a hard, level surface for slicing or plating, while the stainless-steel interior and exterior resist corrosion and clean easily.

The 230 V supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, drawing the power needed to maintain the temperature across 580 L of refrigerated space. The footprint of 2025 mm by 800 mm fits along a typical kitchen wall or island, leaving room for staff to open the doors and drawers without crowding. The total height of 1000 mm allows the granite top to double as a work surface at standing height.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, removing the dust filter for rinsing, and occasionally checking the wheels and brakes for smooth operation. The granite top can be sanitised with food-safe cleaner to maintain hygiene between shifts.
