Stalgast Soda Siphon Cartridges for Professional Use

A soda siphon cartridge pressurises the liquid inside the siphon with carbon dioxide, forcing it out as a fine, fizzy stream when the trigger is pressed. The gas dissolves under pressure, creating the effervescence that defines sparkling water, sodas and cocktails. Because the cartridge is sealed until punctured by the siphon head, the CO₂ remains at full strength until the moment of use, ensuring consistent carbonation every time.

To use, the operator unscrews the siphon head, fills the bottle with chilled liquid, then screws the head back on. The cartridge is inserted into the head and the protective cap removed. When the head is tightened, the cartridge is punctured, releasing the CO₂ into the siphon. The siphon is shaken gently to dissolve the gas, then chilled for a few minutes before the first pour. Each pour dispenses the liquid under the same pressure, so the fizz remains steady from the first glass to the last.

The cartridges are made of recyclable steel, chosen for its strength and resistance to corrosion. Each one is electronically weighed during production to confirm it contains the full charge of pure CO₂, eliminating the risk of under-filled cartridges that would produce weak carbonation.

A single box contains ten cartridges, each providing one charge for a standard professional soda siphon. They are compatible with siphons from other professional brands, allowing the same cartridge to be used across different makes of equipment in the same kitchen.

The cartridges are stored at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight. After use, the empty cartridge is removed from the siphon head and disposed of in metal recycling. No cleaning is required beyond rinsing the siphon bottle and head between uses.
