Stalgast stainless steel grater with medium-sized holes, suitable for grating spices, fruit, vegetables, and cheese.
A grater shreds food by pushing it against a perforated surface. The medium holes on this Stalgast model create strands of consistent thickness, letting heat or seasoning reach every piece at the same rate. The process is driven by the operator's hand: the food is pressed and drawn across the holes, and the strands fall through onto the worktop or into a container beneath.
To use the grater, place it on a stable surface or hold it over a bowl. Press the food firmly against the holes and move it in a steady motion from top to bottom. The 405 mm length gives enough room to grate larger pieces without repositioning. When finished, lift the grater away and collect the shredded food from the worktop or bowl.
The grater is made from stainless steel, which resists corrosion and keeps the cutting edges sharp through repeated use. The 35 mm width and 405 mm length form a narrow strip that fits into standard kitchen drawers or hangs on a rail.
The medium holes suit cheese, vegetables, citrus zest and spices. The stainless steel construction allows the grater to be washed in a commercial dishwasher, removing residue without manual scrubbing.
The grater is supplied as a single unit without interchangeable plates or additional attachments.
