Professional tall stockpot with lid made of stainless steel, Ø 360 mm and 36.6 l capacity. The multi-layer encapsulated base provides even heat distribution and resistance to corrosion. Suitable for all hob types, including induction.
A stockpot holds large batches of stock, soups or stews at a steady simmer without scorching. The wide, flat base spreads heat evenly across the bottom, while the tall sides reduce evaporation and keep ingredients submerged. This design allows long, unattended cooking without hot spots that can burn the contents or require constant stirring.
The operator fills the pot with water, bones, vegetables and seasoning, then places it on the hob. The lid traps steam, raising the internal temperature and speeding up extraction. Once the liquid reaches a gentle boil, the heat is lowered to maintain a slow, rolling simmer. After several hours, the lid is removed, the contents are strained, and the pot is emptied.
The pot is constructed from stainless steel with a satin finish that resists fingerprints and scratches. The base is multi-layer encapsulated for rapid, even heat distribution, preventing warping and hot spots. Ergonomic steel handles are welded at multiple points for strength and stay cooler than the pot body during use.
A 36.6 litre volume accommodates large quantities of liquid, making it suitable for bulk preparation in professional kitchens. The 360 mm diameter fits standard commercial hobs and induction burners, while the matching height allows stacking when not in use. The weight remains manageable for lifting when full, and the dishwasher-safe construction simplifies cleaning after service.
The pot is compatible with gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs, and the stainless steel construction resists corrosion and staining from acidic ingredients. The lid seals tightly to retain moisture and heat, and the satin finish reduces visible wear over time.
Cleaning involves washing the pot and lid with warm water and detergent, either by hand or in a commercial dishwasher. The encapsulated base requires no special maintenance, and the stainless steel surface resists pitting and discolouration when dried promptly after washing.
