A table spoon designed for high-volume service in canteens and bars, where consistent size and durability matter. Unlike domestic cutlery, professional table spoons are made to withstand repeated use and frequent washing without losing shape or finish. The smooth, rounded bowl holds liquids securely, reducing spills when carried across a busy dining area.
The spoon is formed from a single piece of stainless steel, eliminating joints that can trap food or harbour bacteria. Its weight and balance are set for comfortable handling by both staff and customers, allowing quick placement and removal during service. The length is chosen to fit standard cutlery trays and dishwashers, ensuring it integrates smoothly with existing tableware.
In use, the operator simply loads the spoon onto a tray or into a cutlery roll, then places it on the table. After the meal, it is collected with the rest of the service ware and sent through the dishwasher. The inox 18/0 alloy resists corrosion and staining, so the spoon maintains its appearance even after hundreds of cycles.
Construction is a single piece of inox 18/0 stainless steel, a grade that contains 18% chromium and no nickel, giving it a bright finish and resistance to rust. The 195 mm length is the standard for professional table spoons, matching the size of forks and knives in the same range.
Cleaning is straightforward: wash in a commercial dishwasher, then dry and store in a cutlery tray or drawer. The smooth surface and lack of crevices mean food residue does not cling, reducing the need for pre-soaking or scrubbing.
The spoon is part of the Stalgast canteen cutlery range, designed for use in schools, staff restaurants, hotels and event catering.
