Made from stainless steel and tempered glass
A cup warmer keeps ceramic ware at serving temperature so the first sip of coffee or tea reaches the guest at the expected warmth. The appliance uses a low-wattage heating element beneath each shelf to raise the surface temperature just enough to prevent heat loss from the cup without scorching or cracking the glaze. Because the heat is radiant rather than forced, the cups remain dry and ready for immediate use, eliminating the need to pre-warm with hot water and reducing waste.
The operator places empty cups or mugs on either shelf, closes the tempered-glass door, and switches the unit on. A separate on/off switch controls the internal lighting, which illuminates the shelves so staff can see the cups even in low ambient light. The appliance remains on until the cups are removed, maintaining a steady, gentle warmth without further adjustment.
The cabinet is constructed of stainless steel with a tempered-glass front panel. Two fixed shelves provide separate levels for different cup sizes, and the door seals lightly to retain heat while allowing easy access. The heating element is concealed beneath each shelf, and the entire assembly is mounted on a single-piece base for stability.
The 230 V supply matches the standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens and coffee stations. The 0.075 kW power rating keeps the electrical load low, allowing the unit to run continuously without overloading the circuit. The 11 kg weight makes the warmer portable enough to move between stations but heavy enough to stay in place during service. The footprint of 320 mm depth, 420 mm width and 470 mm height fits beneath most coffee machines and on standard worktops without crowding adjacent equipment.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the stainless-steel surfaces and glass panel with a damp cloth; the heating elements require no maintenance. The built-in lighting is protected behind the glass and needs no bulb replacement.
The warmer is designed specifically for Stalgast coffee machines articles 486812 and 486860, ensuring a matching profile and compatible electrical connection.
