Suitable for hotels, restaurants, cantines excellent for cutting big and small vegatables
This vegetable cutter processes whole vegetables into uniform shreds or slices mechanically. A motor powers a rotating blade disc beneath a feed chute; vegetables are pressed against the disc and cut to the selected size. The method delivers consistent results quickly, cutting preparation time for soups, salads, garnishes, and bulk cooking.
To use, choose the required blade and fit it onto the spindle. Position the unit on a stable surface and connect to a 230 V supply. Load vegetables into one of two feed inlets: a rectangular chute for larger items like cabbage or carrots, or a circular chute for round produce such as onions. Activate the motor with the safety micro-switch engaged; the disc spins, cutting vegetables as they pass through. Collect the processed pieces in a container below the outlet.
The cutter features a cast aluminium housing for durability and corrosion resistance. A safety micro-switch stops operation unless the feed chute is correctly positioned, protecting the user. Five blades are included: three shredders with hole diameters of 2 mm, 4 mm, and 6 mm, and two slicers producing 2 mm and 4 mm slices.
The 0.55 kW motor operates on a standard voltage, allowing use alongside other kitchen equipment. Weighing 22.5 kg, the cutter remains stable during use but can be moved by two staff or a trolley. Its dimensions of 230 mm depth, 570 mm width, and 510 mm height suit most worktops or prep tables.
Cleaning involves removing the blade disc and washing it separately in warm soapy water. The aluminium housing and feed chutes should be wiped with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent damage. Regularly check the safety micro-switch for proper function.
