• screw-joined table for self-assembly
A wall-mounted worktable creates a fixed preparation surface that leaves the floor clear for cleaning and movement. The unit bolts to the wall at the chosen height, transferring the load to the building structure rather than relying on legs that can shift or wobble. This arrangement gives a stable platform for chopping, plating or holding hot pans without taking up floor space beneath it.
The table arrives as a flat-pack of stainless-steel panels and legs. The operator positions the rear panel against the wall, marks the fixing points, drills and anchors the panel securely. The front legs are then screwed to the panel, squaring the frame before the worktop is lowered into place and fastened. Once assembled, the table stands 850 mm high, a standard worktop height that matches most kitchen equipment and allows comfortable standing work for the majority of staff.
To use the table, the operator loads ingredients, utensils or small appliances directly onto the 400 mm-deep worktop. The 600 mm width provides enough room for side-by-side tasks without crowding. Because the unit is wall-mounted, there are no legs to trap debris or obstruct mops, and the space beneath can be used for mobile racks or waste bins.
The construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, heat and cleaning chemicals. Panels and legs are screw-joined, allowing the table to be dismantled for relocation or deep cleaning. An optional suspended drawer can be added later; it mounts beneath the worktop and provides enclosed storage for tools or ingredients without altering the table's footprint.
The 400 mm depth is measured from the wall to the front edge, giving a compact footprint that suits tight kitchen layouts. The 850 mm height matches standard worktop levels, ensuring the surface aligns with adjacent equipment and avoids awkward bending or reaching. The 600 mm width balances workspace and aisle clearance, allowing two people to work side by side when needed.
Cleaning is straightforward: the worktop and legs can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitiser, and the absence of a shelf or underframe eliminates hard-to-reach corners where grime can collect. If the table is relocated, the screw joints allow it to be taken apart and reassembled without specialist tools.
