Stalgast Wheeled Base for 75 L and 120 L THOR Containers

A wheeled base transforms stationary THOR containers into mobile units, allowing kitchen staff to move large volumes of ingredients, prepared dishes or cleaning supplies without lifting. The base rolls on castors, so the operator pushes the loaded container across the floor instead of carrying it or transferring contents to a separate trolley. This method reduces handling time and physical strain, particularly when the container is filled to its 75 L or 120 L capacity.

The operator slides the THOR container onto the base until it locks into position. Once secured, the unit can be wheeled to the worktop, the walk-in refrigerator or the service area. The castors swivel for tight turns and lock to hold the base in place during loading or unloading. When the task is complete, the container lifts off the base, leaving the base free for the next container.

Construction is a welded steel frame finished in a durable powder coat. The frame's dimensions—464 mm wide and 168 mm deep—match the footprint of the 75 L and 120 L THOR containers, ensuring a stable fit. The powder-coated finish resists chipping and corrosion in a busy kitchen environment.

The base is designed exclusively for 75 L and 120 L THOR containers and will not accept other brands or sizes.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the frame with a damp cloth to remove dust or spills. The powder coat prevents rust, so no additional treatment is required.
