Tefcold 445 mm LED Light for Catering Equipment

A 445 mm LED light designed to replace worn or failed illumination in Tefcold refrigeration and display units. LED technology provides consistent, bright light with minimal heat output, making it suitable for enclosed spaces where temperature control is critical.

LED lights operate by passing an electric current through a semiconductor, which emits light without the filament or gas discharge used in older bulbs. This method produces little heat, reducing the load on cooling systems, and draws less power for the same brightness, cutting running costs in a busy kitchen.

The light installs directly into the existing fitting of compatible Tefcold units. The operator removes the old light cover, unclips the failed light, aligns the new LED strip and presses it into place until it clicks. The cover is then refitted, restoring full illumination without tools or downtime.

The 445 mm length matches the standard light tray in many Tefcold refrigerators, freezers and display cabinets, ensuring an exact fit without trimming or adapters. LED lights require no warm-up period and reach full brightness instantly, improving visibility for staff and customers.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the transparent cover with a damp cloth to remove dust or condensation. The LED strip itself is sealed and should not be opened or immersed.

This light is a direct replacement for Tefcold equipment only. It fits models that use the 445 mm light tray, including under-counter fridges, upright display freezers and countertop chillers.
