Tefcold Compressor EMT2125U R290 for CEV425-I LED Bottle Cooler

A compressor is the sealed pump that circulates refrigerant through the cooling circuit of a bottle cooler. It draws low-pressure vapour from the evaporator, compresses it to raise both pressure and temperature, then forces the hot gas into the condenser where it releases heat to the surrounding air and condenses back into a liquid. This continuous cycle removes heat from inside the cabinet and expels it outside, keeping drinks at the set serving temperature.

The EMT2125U unit is a hermetic compressor charged with R290 (propane), a natural refrigerant that combines high efficiency with low environmental impact. It is designed as a direct replacement for the original compressor in Tefcold CEV425-I LED bottle coolers. Installation follows the standard sequence: isolate the cooler from the power supply, recover any remaining refrigerant, remove the old compressor, fit the new one with the supplied mounting hardware, reconnect the suction and discharge lines, evacuate the system to remove air and moisture, recharge with the specified quantity of R290, and restore power. The LED indicator on the cooler's control panel confirms the compressor is running once the cycle restarts.

Construction is a single-phase hermetic scroll unit in a welded steel shell. The refrigerant charge is pre-sealed inside the unit, eliminating the need for field charging. Electrical connections are made via a standard three-pin terminal block protected by a snap-on cover. The compressor is mounted on rubber vibration pads to reduce noise and prevent transmission of movement to the cabinet.
