A ventilated cooling counter keeps baked goods at serving temperature without drying them out. A fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, so pastries, breads and cakes stay fresh for hours under glass. The air is cooled by a refrigerant that absorbs heat from the cabinet and releases it outside, maintaining the set temperature range while the doors are opened repeatedly during service.

The operator loads the three wire shelves with trays of products, sets the desired temperature between +2 °C and +10 °C, and leaves the counter to run. Automatic defrost cycles remove ice build-up without manual intervention, so the unit stays frost-free and energy-efficient. Self-closing doors ensure the cold air stays inside when staff are busy, and the adjustable legs allow the counter to sit level on uneven floors.

The cabinet is built from stainless steel for hygiene and durability in a busy bakery. The top is removable for easier cleaning, and the Euronorm dimensions match standard bakery trays. Three white wire shelves provide 400 mm by 600 mm of display space each, allowing clear visibility of products while maximising airflow. The refrigerant charge is 95 g of R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.

Controls are simple: a thermostat maintains the temperature within the +2 °C to +10 °C range, and the automatic defrost programme runs at intervals to keep the evaporator clear. The 0.3 kW power rating means the counter draws a modest load from a standard 220-240 V single-phase supply, suitable for most commercial kitchens.

At 2020 mm wide, 800 mm deep and 880 mm high, the counter fits along a wall or island in a bakery, café or supermarket deli. The 565 L volume provides ample space for large batches of products, while the 152 kg weight requires two people or a trolley to move it into position. The white wire shelves contrast with the stainless steel frame, making products stand out to customers.

Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless steel surfaces and wire shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The removable top allows access to the interior for deeper cleaning, and the adjustable legs can be raised to clean underneath. The ventilated design means no condensation collects on the shelves, reducing the need for frequent wiping.

The BK310 is a single model with no variants. It is designed for bakery display but can also hold chilled desserts, sandwiches or other ready-to-serve items within its temperature range.

This counter is listed in the catalogue under bakery equipment and refrigerated display units.
