Fitting the end piece is straightforward: slide it onto the cut end of the lamp cover until it seats fully, then press or twist to engage any locking tabs. The piece is removed by reversing the motion—pressing or twisting to release the tabs before sliding it off for lamp replacement or cover cleaning.
