A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled food visible and accessible while holding it at safe serving temperatures. The unit circulates cold air behind the glass front, drawing heat away from the shelves and maintaining an even chill across every level. This steady airflow prevents warm spots and condensation, so products stay fresh and presentation remains clear throughout service.

The operator loads the shelves with prepared dishes, then sets the desired temperature between +2 and +6 °C. Once powered, the cabinet cools automatically, cycling refrigerant through concealed coils. Two vertical LED strips illuminate the interior, casting even light on the displayed items without adding heat. The tilting shelves angle forward slightly, bringing products closer to the customer's eye level and encouraging impulse purchases.

Construction is heavy-duty stainless steel with reinforced shelving and a strengthening bar for stability. Each shelf adjusts in depth to accommodate larger trays or bulkier items. Glass end walls allow the cabinet to stand alone or link seamlessly with other units using a multiplexing kit, creating an uninterrupted display line. An acrylic front riser and ticket strip are fitted as standard, keeping labels and prices visible without obstructing the view of the food.

The 2.2 kW power rating reflects the load on the electrical circuit when the compressor runs at full capacity. A 220-240 V single-phase supply is required, matching the standard wiring found in most commercial kitchens. The 2600 mm length provides ample linear display space, while the 640 kg weight indicates the unit must be positioned on a solid floor and moved only with a pallet truck or similar equipment.

Cleaning involves wiping the glass and stainless steel surfaces with a mild detergent, removing the shelves to wash them separately. The LED strips can be cleaned with a dry cloth to avoid moisture damage. Regular checks of the door seals and drainage ensure the cabinet maintains its temperature range efficiently.

The EXTRA2500CD is supplied as a base unit plus four adjustable shelves. A multiplexing kit is available separately to connect multiple cabinets in a continuous line.
