TEFCOLD Galaxy+ GP14FGD Black Refrigerated Display Showcase

A refrigerated display showcase keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a precise temperature range. The unit circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, drawing heat away from food and drink through a closed refrigeration circuit. A compressor drives refrigerant through evaporator coils inside the cabinet, absorbing warmth and expelling it at the rear. This continuous cycle holds the interior between -1 °C and +5 °C, extending shelf life without freezing the products on show.

The operator loads the shelves through frameless glass doors that open smoothly along the full height of the cabinet. Five adjustable shelves, plus a solid base, can be tilted forward to present items at an angle, making them easier to see and reach. Vertical and horizontal LED strips illuminate the interior, casting light evenly across every shelf to highlight colours and textures. Once loaded, the doors close to form a seamless seal, keeping the cold air inside and the warm air out.

The Galaxy+ GP14FGD is built on a stainless-steel frame with solid 40 mm end walls finished in mirrored aluminium. The interior surfaces reflect light, enhancing visibility and giving the cabinet a spacious feel. A stainless-steel bumper bar runs along the front edge, protecting the glass from knocks. The exterior dimensions of 1330 mm wide, 740 mm deep and 2040 mm high allow the unit to fit through standard doorways and align with existing counters or other showcases to form a continuous display line.

Controls are minimal: a thermostat inside the cabinet maintains the set temperature range automatically. The refrigeration system uses R290 refrigerant, which has a low environmental impact and contributes to the unit's EU B energy rating. The 0.583 kW power rating reflects the load on the electrical circuit, requiring a standard 220-240 V single-phase supply.

The 629-litre volume provides ample space for chilled products, while the 285 kg weight ensures stability but requires a solid floor and a trolley for movement. Shelves are removed for cleaning, and the interior surfaces are wiped down with mild detergent. The LED lighting is sealed and does not require maintenance. The frameless glass doors are cleaned with glass cleaner, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the surface.

The Galaxy+ GP14FGD is available in black and is designed for professional use in the UK, Scandinavia, France and the Baltics. It comes with price tape and an acrylic front panel as standard, allowing for easy pricing and product labelling.
