Showcase cooler 28.4 l. GN pans are not included
A static-cooled showcase cooler keeps chilled food visible and accessible while maintaining safe holding temperatures. Cold air settles inside the insulated cabinet, creating a consistent chill zone without forced circulation. The lid traps the cold air when the unit is closed, reducing energy use and preventing warm air from entering.
The operator loads up to four GN1/3 gastronorm pans directly onto the stainless steel shelf. The digital controller is set to the desired temperature, and the display shows the current reading. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, ensuring the lid seals properly. Once the temperature stabilises, the cooler holds the pans at a steady chill, allowing staff to lift the lid, remove a portion and replace it without disturbing the temperature of the remaining food.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, including the lid, for hygiene and durability in a busy kitchen. The static cooling system has no fan, so there are no moving parts to wear or require maintenance. The digital controller regulates the cooling cycle, and the display confirms the temperature at a glance.
The 1200 mm width accommodates four GN1/3 pans side by side, fitting standard worktop depths and leaving space for adjacent equipment. The 28 kg weight allows two people to move the unit for cleaning or reorganisation. A 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply matches standard UK commercial circuits, and the 0.110 kW power rating keeps the load light on the kitchen's electrical system.
Cleaning follows from the materials and construction: the stainless steel interior and lid wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The static cooling system requires no filter changes or fan cleaning. Adjustable feet are checked periodically to keep the unit level and the lid sealing correctly.
The GVC 4 GN1/3 is a single model; no variants are listed. It is placed in the refrigeration section under static-cooled display units.
