Showcase cooler 31 l. GN pans are not included
A static-cooled display cabinet keeps chilled food visible while maintaining safe holding temperatures. Cold air settles naturally from an evaporator coil mounted inside the insulated cavity, eliminating moving parts and reducing energy draw. The lid traps the cold air when the unit is closed, extending the holding time between compressor cycles and keeping the contents within the +2 to +8 °C range required for perishable items. The operator loads up to six GN1/4 gastronorm pans through the hinged stainless steel lid. After placing the pans on the internal rack, the lid is closed and the digital controller set to the desired temperature. The display shows the current reading, allowing the operator to monitor the cabinet without opening it. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, ensuring the lid seals properly and the pans sit level. The entire cabinet is constructed from stainless steel, inside and out, including the lid. Static cooling relies on a refrigerant charge of R600a, which circulates through the evaporator coil without a fan. The digital controller governs the compressor cycles, maintaining the set temperature while the display provides continuous feedback. A 220-240 V single-phase supply powers the compressor and controller. The 2.64 kWh daily energy consumption reflects the static cooling method, which uses less power than fan-assisted models. The 1400 mm length fits standard worktop depths, while the 335 mm width allows the unit to sit between other equipment without overhang. The 27 kg weight permits two people to move the cabinet without a trolley, and the 31 L volume corresponds to the six GN1/4 pans it holds. After each service, the seamless stainless steel lid and cabinet can be wiped down without trapping moisture or harbouring bacteria. The static cooling coil requires occasional brushing to remove dust, which can be accessed by removing the internal rack. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure the cabinet remains level and the lid seals correctly.
