A monoblock cooler unit draws heat from a walk-in cold room and expels it outside through a single sealed assembly. The compressor circulates refrigerant through an evaporator coil inside the room and a condenser coil on the exterior side. As the refrigerant evaporates, it absorbs heat from the air; as it condenses, it releases that heat into the outside atmosphere. This closed cycle keeps the room at the set temperature without ducting or separate condenser units.
The operator mounts the unit on the wall of the cold room, connects the power supply and sets the desired temperature on the digital controller. Once switched on, the unit runs continuously, adjusting compressor speed and fan output to maintain the target range. The controller displays the current temperature, allowing staff to monitor conditions without opening the door.
The WRA-M12-1 is built as a single white RAL9003 enclosure housing compressor, evaporator, condenser and fans. A ventilated cooling system ensures even air distribution across the coils, preventing ice build-up and maintaining consistent performance. The unit accepts panels up to 200 mm thick and can be linked in series with identical units for larger installations.
Controls consist of a digital panel with a temperature display and adjustment buttons. The operator sets the target temperature within the -5 to +15 °C range, and the controller regulates the cycle automatically.
A 220-240 V single-phase supply powers the unit, matching standard UK commercial circuits. The 47 kg weight requires two people to lift and secure the unit during installation. The 421 mm depth, 876 mm width and 728 mm height determine the wall space needed and the clearance around the condenser for proper airflow.
Cleaning involves wiping the exterior with a damp cloth and checking the condenser coil for dust or debris that could obstruct airflow. The digital controller should be kept dry and free from grease.
The WRA-M12-1 is designed for walk-in cold rooms and is not compatible with other refrigeration systems.
