TEFCOLD Monoblock Cooler Unit WRA-M32-1 for Cold Rooms

A monoblock cooler unit draws heat from a cold room and expels it outside through a single, sealed refrigeration circuit. The compressor pressurises refrigerant gas, which condenses in an outdoor coil and releases the heat it carried. The liquid refrigerant then expands through a valve, cooling rapidly before it passes through an indoor coil. A fan forces air across this coil, lowering the temperature of the cold room evenly and maintaining it within the set range.

The WRA-M32-1 is mounted on the wall of the cold room, with the evaporator coil and fan inside and the condenser coil outside. Openings must be cut in the cold room panels to accommodate the unit, which fits panels up to 200 mm thick. Once installed, the digital controller displays the current temperature and allows the operator to set the desired range between -5 °C and +15 °C. The ventilated cooling system circulates air continuously, preventing hot spots and ensuring consistent conditions throughout the space.

To operate the unit, the operator sets the target temperature on the digital controller. The compressor and fan start automatically, cycling on and off to maintain the set range. The display shows the real-time temperature, allowing the operator to monitor conditions without opening the cold room door. For larger cold rooms, multiple WRA-M32-1 units can be linked, with one unit acting as the master to synchronise temperature control across all connected units.

The WRA-M32-1 is constructed with a white RAL9003 exterior and uses R290 refrigerant, a hydrocarbon with a low environmental impact. The unit measures 671 mm deep, 975 mm wide and 828 mm high, and weighs 81 kg, requiring secure wall mounting. It operates on a 220-240 V electrical supply, suitable for standard UK single-phase circuits.

The ventilated cooling system requires regular cleaning of the evaporator and condenser coils to maintain efficiency. The fan blades and housing should also be checked periodically to ensure unrestricted airflow. The digital controller simplifies temperature adjustment and monitoring, reducing the need for manual intervention during daily operation.

The WRA-M32-1 is designed for indoor use only and is compatible with cold room panels up to 200 mm thick. Multiple units can be connected to form a larger cooling system, with one unit controlling the temperature for all linked units.
