Roll-In Cooler for professional kitchens
The RIC Roll-In Cooler is designed with efficiency and convenience in mind. Crafted from durable SS304 stainless steel, this ventilated cooling solution is designed to keep your prepared meals and dishes fresh and ready to serve. Ideal for event venues, buffet areas, bakeries, and cafeterias, this model can accommodate 2 x GN2/1 or 2 x 600x400mm or 4 x GN1/1 20-tray trolleys with ease (sold separately). Doors on both sides of the cabinet provide effortless access, for instance between the kitchen and the serving area.
A roll-in cooler brings refrigerated storage directly to the worktop without transferring trays. Fans circulate cold air evenly around the trolleys, pulling heat out of the food faster than still air can. The closed cabinet keeps the temperature steady, protecting large batches of prepared ingredients until service.
The operator wheels a loaded trolley straight into the cabinet from either the front or the back, closes the door, and sets the digital controller. The cooler maintains the chosen temperature between +2 and +10 °C, displaying the reading on the panel. Automatic defrost cycles clear ice from the evaporator without manual intervention, so the unit stays at full efficiency.
The RTC1760X1 is built with stainless steel inside and out, resisting corrosion and making daily cleaning straightforward. A single 220-240 V circuit supplies the power, matching the standard supply in professional kitchens. The 832 L volume holds two full-size gastronorm trolleys or four half-size ones, giving a clear footprint of 1760 mm wide, 1082 mm deep and 2201.5 mm high. At 276 kg, the unit is moved on castors or forklift pockets before final positioning.
Cleaning follows the ventilated design: remove the trolleys, wipe the interior surfaces with a damp cloth, and clear any debris from the fan grilles. The digital controller needs no calibration, but the display should be kept free of condensation to remain legible.
The cooler is listed in the refrigeration section for roll-in units, climate class 5 for high ambient temperatures.
