TEFCOLD SC85 85 L Wine Cooler for 22 Bottles

A wine cooler provides a consistent, cool space that protects the flavour and ageing of white and rosé wines. The SC85 uses an internal fan to circulate chilled air, eliminating hot spots and maintaining uniform temperature throughout. The tinted glass door blocks ultraviolet light, while the sealed cabinet stabilises humidity and prevents odours from entering, offering cellar-like conditions in a compact unit suitable for counter-top placement.

Load up to 22 standard 750 ml bottles by sliding out the wire shelves. A digital control panel on the front allows temperature adjustment between +2 °C and +10 °C, which the cooler then maintains automatically. LED lighting brightens the interior without generating heat, enabling bottle inspection without opening the door. Adjustable legs ensure the cabinet sits level on uneven surfaces, and a lock secures the contents during use.

The SC85 features a single black cabinet with a curved tinted glass door hinged on the right. Four wire shelves support the bottles, each adjustable or removable to accommodate taller bottles. Both interior and exterior are black, and the refrigerant used is R600a, a low-impact hydrocarbon.

With a 0.165 kW power rating, the cooler operates on a standard 220-240 V, 50 Hz circuit. Its 85 litre volume and dimensions of 503 × 567 × 775 mm define its footprint, fitting on a worktop or under a counter. Weighing 33 kg, the unit can be moved by two people.

Cleaning is simple: unplug the cooler, remove the shelves, and wipe them with a damp cloth. The interior walls and door seal can be cleaned similarly; avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent scratching the tinted glass. The exterior should be wiped with a soft cloth and mild detergent. The fan and cooling system require no maintenance beyond keeping the vents free of dust.
