TEFCOLD SD1380 Refrigerator for Cans and Bottles

A refrigerator built to store packaged drinks at the exact chill that keeps carbonation crisp and flavours bright. Inside, a fan circulates cold air evenly from the back wall to every shelf, so every can and bottle reaches the same temperature without hot or cold spots. The evaporator coil pulls heat from the air, and the refrigerant R600a carries that heat outside, keeping the interior between +2 °C and +10 °C. This range is cold enough to preserve fizz and slow bacterial growth, yet warm enough to prevent freezing that can burst cans or crack glass.

Loading is straightforward: the reversible solid door opens to five adjustable wire shelves, each 490 mm wide and 360 mm deep. Shelves slide on rails so the spacing can be set for 330 ml cans, 500 ml cans, 330 ml bottles or 500 ml bottles. Once the shelves are organised, the operator loads the drinks, closes the door and leaves the fan to maintain the temperature. The unit runs on a standard 220–240 V single-phase circuit, drawing 0.215 kW, so it fits into the power layout of most professional bars and kitchens.

The cabinet is sized to hold 455 x 330 ml cans, 301 x 500 ml cans, 217 x 330 ml bottles or 217 x 500 ml bottles net. The footprint of 595 mm by 640 mm allows it to stand against a wall or between worktops, while the height of 1840 mm keeps the top shelf within easy reach. The total volume of 345 litres gives enough space for a full shift's stock without overcrowding. Four adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, and the solid door seals tightly to keep the cold air inside and the ambient air out.

Cleaning follows from the construction: the wire shelves lift out for washing, and the interior walls wipe clean with a damp cloth. The evaporator coil at the back should be brushed or vacuumed every few months to remove dust that would slow heat transfer. The refrigerant charge of 80 g is sealed inside the system and does not require replenishment under normal use.
